The rattle is powerful.
It brings almost instant meditation and creates a changed state for me that is more powerful than traditional meditation.
I’ve always had a hard time sitting and meditating. I get agitated rather than relaxed. People tell me if I just keep practicing I’ll “get there” - beyond an agitated state and into a meditative state.
But why take the long road, when there’s a shortcut in sight? Different strokes for different folks, I say. Deep, I know.
So I’m rattling. Feel no agitation then. Just meditation and, well, a cougar. I know this may be too woo-woo for some people but I saw a cougar. Sorta felt like the cougar and I melted into one. I’m struggling not to be embarrassed about saying that. On the other hand, why should I be embarrassed about the truth?
So I googled cougar and this is what I found:
I couldn’t make this up if I tried.
Medicine: Coming into my own power aka Coming of Age at 62.
Cycle: year long aka I’m in day 3 of a year long ritual, ceremony and blogging practice.
I love this stuff.
Meant to be.
No coincidences.
I’m blown away. Couldn’t have asked for a better rattling outcome.
I was going to also write about my experience at the Kennedy Center last night, which was quite fun & wonderful. but not going to now.
I’m ending this on a cougar-note. One of power. One of me coming into my own, again, as I re-begin my life.
There’s no stopping me now. Hot doggies.
